Participation was excellent, with seventy valid surveys tabulated. Only a few surveys were disqualified as duplicates from the same IP address.

Participation was relatively evenly spread between the US regions, with the greater number of participants located in the Northeast (24.3 %)  and the smaller number located in the Southeast (12.9%)

Surprisingly, most companies have been in business for 15 years or more (65.7%)

Ninety two point nine percent provide company uniforms for their Horticultural Technicians and a high percentage also provide paid holidays, vacations and benefits.

It was interesting to note that most companies are still providing weekly service (54.3%) with bi-weekly service intervals coming in at second place with 37.1%.

The good news was that forty one percent of the companies responding had not had to layoff any employees  due to the current economy, nor did they expect to do so!
